Why does iZip ask for a password?

iZip does not require a password itself.

When you are extracting a password protected Zip file, you will be prompted to enter the password. This is the security feature of a password protected Zip file. iZip does not have access to this password. You will have to get it from the creator of the zip file.

iZip Pro also support creating password protected zip files. You can set the default zip method and password in the Settings.
