Why my photos are ended with "HEIC" on iOS 11?

In iOS 11, a new image format is introduced: High Efficiency Image Format. The images are ended with the "HEIC" file extension. If you don't want to use this new image format, you can change the Camera settings. Go to your device's Settings->Camera->Formats, select Most Compatible. After this change, all new photos will use the JPEG format.
